FHIR® know how

Step #1 – links

I wish there were a "Matrix" way to download knowledge into your brain. Until that day comes, here
are some links to save on your favorites list to help see you through the first days of learning FHIR. Most of these links are useful around the world, while a couple are geared towards the Israeli market. Here are some Important links to get started with FHIR®:

Important links to get started with FHIR®

1.   http://hl7.org/fhir/ -- FHIR® home page

The go to guide for everything you need to know on FHIR: Recourses, profiles, bundles, references and more, as well as how to use them, including various examples.

2.    https://simplifier.net/ilcore -- Israel Core project page

The IL Core interpretation and implementation of FHIR. It is important to familiarize yourself with IL extensions and modifications made by the IL Core team, to successfully implement FHIR in every Israeli organization, or when applying modifications within your own project. Moreover, exploring external profiles and implementation guides within other cores projects, may help you with the FHIR-based modelling according to the specific business case. No need to reinvent the wheel, right?

 3.   https://hapi.fhir.org/ -- Testing server

Fully operational FHIR testing server configured to validate resources against Base resources and any profiles you decide to upload to the server, allowing you comprehensive project validation.

And speaking of JSON:

4.   https://jsoneditoronline.org/ -- JSON editor

syntax mistakes are the worst. Write your code correctly from the beginning to avoid needles headaches.

5.   http://clinfhir.com/ -- Bundle tools

You have a bundle. Need to check it? This website will make sanity checks fun. Equipped with a great bundle visualizer, it allows you to identify all resources inside the bundle and relationships between them. Neat way to display your project and spot mistakes. We've written about the Bundle Visualizer - Check that post out.

6.  https://www.fhir-il-community.org/ -- Israeli FHIR® community

Meet your community leaders from Israel. With so many professional leaders in one place, no question will be left unanswered. We at Outburn are there too, of course!

And, of course...
